Meet the Staff: Jennifer Hulstine

Jennifer is the optical lab manager at Brookside Optometric Group and has worked on the team for six years. She spends her fast-paced days managing a team of employees, assisting with patient orders for contact lenses and glasses, teaching patients how to wear and care for contact lenses, and providing an optimal experience for all of our patients. She loves to see patients of all ages try on glasses or contact lenses for the first time as a new world of sight opens up to them.

Building relationships is Jennifer’s favorite part of the job; she likes to meet new people and catch up with returning patients. Prior to working at Brookside, Jennifer worked for HOYA Vision Care, a lens supply company. She made the switch to work in the other side of the optical field, which allows her to engage with patients and tackle new challenges every day.

Originally from Denair, she now makes her home in Stockton. She is engaged to John and looking forward to their August wedding. She is also a dog mom to her handsome pitbull, Cj. When she’s not at work, Jennifer loves to spend time with her family and friends, and enjoys competing in shooting competitions in Oakdale with her fiancé.
